Embroidery always enhances the beauty of the saree. Today I am feeling glad to present hand
embroidered work done by my mom. We selected pink Georgette saree for the work.
we get it printed from some professional artist from our city. The design selected
is suitable for lazy daisy stitch. Lazy daisy stitch which is also known as
detached chain stitch is very easy and it gives a petal-like look. This was Amma’s
first saree project so she wanted an easy stitch

may see on pink Georgette saree, darker shade of pink silk thread is used. In
the beginning, we decided to go for a contrast colour combination, so tried
blue and cream colour. But it didn’t go well with the pink background. After
trial and error, a darker shade of pink is selected, and Kundans are used to
enhance its beauty. The above image is of the border and below you can see
Pallu.
